Megumi was born in Tokyo in 1977. She studied Industrial Design in Hiroshima Civic University. After graduation, she studied illustration at the technical college, Palette Club.

Her illustrations feature sweet but mysterious girls with many fashionable accents in her signature handmade style.  Her distinctive look inside the life of fashionable young women has been featured in a variety of print media.
