Yuki Hatori was born in Gunma Prefecture on the Kanto Plain. Right after graduating from high school, she cut hair at her family's hair salon. Deciding that she wanted to be an illustrator, Yuki attended Setsu Mode where she graduated in 1997.

Yuki was one of ten illustrators chosen by Jeffrey Fulvimari for his "This is Your Chance" show in 1999. She can either use the computer or draw by hand.

Yuki likes to listen to music and watch movies, especially if they're British.
