Junko was born in 1982 in Hyogo. She studied communication design in one of the most famous Japanese art colleges, Musashino Art College.

After graduation she worked at a design office as a package designer from 2007 to 2009.

Her illustrations incorporate vivid colors and delicate drawings. With her expressive line quality she depicts cute and modern girls with a variety of cultural influences.

In 2009, her unique illustrations were chosen as a finalist of Chance Ten Competition held by CWC.  This competition is a gateway to success for young illustrators all over the world.

Her career is blossoming into a bright future in Japan and around the world.
